App specific data storage
At Mibex Software, we try to only store the bare minimum of data to accomplish our task and to provide you a pleasant user experience.
This app persists Confluence host details (i.e., client key, host public key and host base URL) required for interoperability with Confluence. Furthermore, we store the LaTeX macros of the app settings in a Postgres database on Heroku. This is necessary because there is currently no possibility to store app settings on the hosted Atlassian product. Note that we do not store any of your math equations.
In addition, we take an additional measure to ensure that any data stored is immediately deleted upon app uninstallation, resulting in a zero data retention period after an uninstall.
